Endoscopic (Endoscopy - means looking inside)

"A minimally invasive diagnostic medical procedure performed by means of an equipment called a  endoscope; a medical device consisting of a camera mounted on a flexible lighted tube for visualizing the interior of a hollow organ. Small instruments can be used to take tissue samples for review."

There are many types of procedures, they are named according to the organ explored: arthroscopy - joints; bronchoscopy - lungs; colonoscopy - colon...
