If you've been here, you know that all this good care is provided in a cluster of old buildings that cannot function much longer as a hospital and clinic.
Replacing these facilities is absolutely necessary.
The hospital and clinic's age, inconvenience and appearance can easily cause a lack of confidence and appeal, both for potential patients and for prospective staff members.
Only with a new facility for the hospital and its clinic, will it be possible for EMHS to continue.
We must show our financial support for the project before Federal, State and charitable foundation support can be secured. We must raise funds with local support, gifts and pledges that provide for a significant portion of the cost of the new facility.
The community needs to step up!
The projected budget for a new hospital and clinic hovers near $30 million. We must generate at least $1.5 million up front through the capital fundraising campaign and create a building that will provide a source of income to pay off the portion of the construction costs financed through long-term loans.

As residents of Susquehanna County, we can maintain the healthcare services we need only if we pull together to build a new facility.
"This campaign is about building what might be the most important resource in our community. It's not an elaborate plan. It is a basic one...one that meets the needs of the community. You...and only you...can make it happen!" Chris Caterson, Campaign Chairperson
